Hi, I’m John Ward, a mindfulness coach, stress relief specialist, and senior instructor of LFA Tai Chi and Taoist Yoga. For over 28 years, I’ve been helping people from all walks of life reduce stress, feel more in control, and live with greater calm and purpose — without needing to escape to a mountain retreat or spend years meditating.

But I didn’t begin this journey as a teacher. I started as the student who desperately needed help.

The Turning Point

Years ago, a serious back injury forced me to hit pause on life. Doctors told me to rest. Therapies came and went. Nothing brought lasting relief — physically or mentally. I was in pain, frustrated, and starting to lose hope.

That’s when I discovered LFA Tai Chi, and everything changed.

Unlike anything I’d tried before, Tai Chi didn’t just manage the symptoms — it helped me reconnect with my body, quiet my racing mind, and begin healing from the inside out. For the first time in years, I felt real relief. Not just from the pain — but from the stress, anxiety, and overwhelm that came with it.

I became a lifelong student of this ancient art and eventually trained to teach it, along with mindfulness and Taoist Yoga, to help others find the same transformation I did.

Who I Help

Over nearly three decades, I’ve worked with thousands of people — from **office workers and busy professionals, to university students, small business owners**, and retired adults just trying to enjoy life again.
